From 15^th to 18^th April, SUNU Assurances Vie Cameroon sponsored the first edition of the Sanaga Mapubi Forum, which was held on the theme "Dynamics of the population of the Sanaga Maritime for sustainable development".

Under the leadership of the Honourable Marinette NGO YETNA, sponsor and promoter of the event, and in the presence of local administrative authorities, the Forum hosted 4 days of conferences, debates and exhibitions, and ended with the awarding of prizes to the best project leaders.

Mrs. Nelly Bakang, CEO of SUNU Assurances Vie Cameroun was present to lead one of the conferences on the role of insurance in the sustainability of projects. Her intervention enabled the young project holders to better understand the role of insurance, which is to accompany them on 4 main aspects:

• Project financing: through savings;
• The sustainability of their activity: through providence;
• Securing work tools and infrastructures: through damage insurance;
• The quality of the relationship with partners and clients: through Civil Liability coverage.

The intervention thus led to the beginning of a partnership between SUNU Assurances companies in Cameroon and the Association of Ingenious Entrepreneurs of Africa (ASENIA), represented by its Vice-President Jean Pier MBANGA.
