On Thursday 28th July 2022, the BNP Paribas Group and the SUNU Group concluded an agreement relating to the acquisition by the SUNU Group of 54.11% of the capital of the Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l'Industrie du Sénégal ("BICIS").
The signing of the agreement took place in the presence of Mr. Pathé DIONE, Chairman and CEO, Founder of the SUNU Group and his Deputy General Managers (Mr. Mohamed BAH, Mr. Joël AMOUSSOU and Mr. Karim DIONE); on behalf of the PNB Paribas Group Mr. Jean-Paul SABET, Advisor to the President Jean LEMIERRE, President of BNP Paribas and Mr. Pierre BEREGOVOY, Head of Sub-Saharan Africa.
The SUNU Group is continuing its development in line with its ambition to offer complete financial solutions with a network of banks and insurance companies that are closer to companies and populations.
